Data from the test tools
The webcam, microphone, keyboard, speaker and screen tools run entirely inside your browser using standard browser APIs. Images, audio and key presses are never sent to TestLap servers or to any third party. Test photos and recordings live only in the page's temporary memory and are deleted when you close or reload the page.
Camera and microphone permissions
The browser asks for permission each time you turn on the camera or microphone. You can revoke it at any time through the lock icon in the address bar.
Language
On your first visit the site may redirect you to the language version matching your browser settings and remember that choice in a small cookie named lang. The cookie holds only a language code and no personal information.
Analytics
We may use anonymous analytics (page views, device type, country) to learn which tools are useful. This data is not tied to your identity.
Cookies
The site stores your light/dark theme choice in local storage and your language choice in a cookie. There are no advertising cookies unless clearly stated on this page.
